We formed the vertical posts with rolled steel edges so the frame stays rigid under stacked totes and heavy gear. Tiers adjust along grooved posts without bolts, leaving room for a hanging run next to your bulk storage. Use the frame tall or break it down into low workbenches across a garage floor.

Rolled steel posts
We roll the upright edges inward to stiffen the vertical channel. This profile resists twist when heavy storage bins sit off-center, while leaving smooth outer corners that will not snag work gloves during loading.
Clip on wire tiers
Sleeves snap around the grooved uprights to seat each welded wire shelf at your chosen height. The open wire mesh lets light pass through and keeps concrete floor dust from settling into deep pockets.
Integrated hanging run
A steel rod spans the frame alongside open wire decks. Work jackets, heavy rain gear, or extension cords hang straight without stealing flat shelf area from your toolboxes and plastic storage totes.
Low bench setup
Each tall bay uncouples at the center joint to form low side-by-side tables. Set them as twin workbenches along a basement wall, or run them inline as low counters for workshop machinery.

The frame is rated to 3100 lbs with the weight spread along the rail. That is a tested figure for the whole frame, not a guess, and it assumes the load sits across the span rather than hanging off one end.
