What you are getting

We built this portable closet on grooved steel posts so you can move the shelves to match your folded piles and hanging coats. The bright yellow coating resists scratches and wipes down clean. Roll the loaded frame away from the wall whenever you need to sweep behind it.

  • Stands 79" tall and takes up 35.5" of wall, 15.7" deep. Measure the gap before you order.
  • Rolls on locking casters. Brake them and it stays where you left it.

Assembly: pins and connectors in the box, floor assembly, no drill. Casters push into the feet last.

Why it is built this way

Bright yellow coating

We coat the raw steel frame in a bright yellow finish that seals out moisture in a damp laundry room. It wipes clean with a damp cloth and will not chip when hangers slide along the top rail.

Adjustable shelf clips

Slip collars snap into the grooves on the upright posts to hold the wire tiers. You position each shelf at the height your bins need, then tap it down to lock the tapered joint tight.

Locking wheel base

Threaded casters screw directly into the base of the upright posts. Step down on the wheel brakes to hold the loaded closet steady while you hang heavy winter jackets or reach for the upper shelves.

Tool free frame assembly

The upright posts screw together and the wire shelves slide over plastic sleeves without wrenches or bolts. You can put the frame together on your own in a spare bedroom or rented flat.
