What you are getting

We build this frame with heavy-gauge steel tube and a flat black powder coat. The upper and lower rods hold shirts, jackets, and long garments, while the wire shelves seat bins and folded woolens. When you need to rearrange a bedroom or vacuum underneath, release the caster brakes and roll the whole unit away.

  • Rated to 220 lbs spread across the frame, which is everyday shirts, dresses and light jackets.
  • Stands 79" tall and takes up 35.5" of wall, 15.7" deep. Measure the gap before you order.
  • 2 hanging rods, so short and long garments each get their own line.

Why it is built this way

Twin hanging rods

The hanging bars span the full width of the rack to take shirts, jackets, and trousers. Setting them at staggered heights gives long coats room to hang clear of the lower bar.

Adjustable wire shelves

Wire mesh shelves sit at the base and top of the frame. You set their height along the upright posts to clear storage boxes, folded blankets, or boots resting down low.

Smooth rolling casters

Swivel wheels roll across bare floors and flat rugs without dragging. The front wheels carry foot-operated brakes that lock the frame in position when you push the levers down.

Black powder finish

The steel tubing receives a black powder coat applied for daily handling. It wipes clean with a damp cloth and holds up in dorm rooms, laundry spaces, or bedrooms lacking built-in storage.

How much can it actually hold?

The frame is rated to 220 lbs with the weight spread along the rail. That is a tested figure for the whole frame, not a guess, and it assumes the load sits across the span rather than hanging off one end.

Will it fit where I want to put it?

It needs 35.5" of wall and 15.7" of floor coming out from it, and it stands 79" tall. Chalk those three numbers on the floor before you order, and leave a hand-width to get behind it.
