About this shelving and storage
Grooved upright posts take split sleeves that seat the shelf collars under downward load. We include both flat wire tiers and a hanging rod on this black frame, giving tall totes and work coats their own space on the same uprights. The steel is pressed with underside ribs to stiffen the spans.
Grooved upright posts
Split plastic sleeves seat into rings pressed into each upright tube. When you press the shelf collar down over them, the taper wedges tight, holding the tier where you set it.
Underside support ribs
Each shelf deck has channel ribs welded beneath the wire grid. These bridge the long span between the posts, carrying bulk bins and heavy tool chests without letting the middle bow.
Shelves and hanging rod
A solid steel rod hangs beneath one tier while the rest of the uprights stay open for shelving. You can hang heavy coveralls and wet gear right alongside boxed inventory.
Black powder coat
We coat the raw steel in matte black powder that bakes hard against garage grit and damp basement air. It resists scuffs when sliding heavy metal toolboxes on and off the decks.
