About this portable closet
We build this frame from thickened carbon steel tube with a smooth black coating. The grooved posts hold steel shelves and hanging rods that adjust to fit long coats or folded bins. It moves across hard floors on casters and settles where you set the wheel brakes.
Steel tube and finish
We coat the carbon steel frame in a smooth black finish that wipes down easily. Thick vertical posts carry the shelves and hanging rods without bolting into wall studs.
Grooved posts and clips
Slip-sleeve joints snap onto the grooved steel uprights at the height you pick. You set each wire shelf and hanging bar right where your coats, sweaters, and storage boxes fit.
Casters with brakes
The base rolls on swivel casters so you can push the full frame out from the wall. Step down on the foot brakes to keep the rack parked on hard surfaces.
Tool free assembly
You slide the sleeves onto the posts and press the shelf collars down over them by hand. No wrenches or drills needed, which suits a rental flat or an open bedroom corner.
