Returning a frame

Returns and refunds go through the store where you bought it, under its own return window. Keep the original box until you are happy with the frame; flat-packed parts travel back most easily the way they came.

Keeping steel in shape

• Wipe chrome and powder coat with a dry cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners.
• In damp basements or laundry rooms, dry the tube after spills to protect the finish.
• Re-seat spring buttons after a move, before loading the rods.

Casters and covers

Pick hair and thread off caster axles every few months. Brush dust off covers and air them on a dry day.
