About this shelving and storage
One unit tidies a corner; three line a whole garage wall. Every deck has four ribs under it and the legs are doubled steel, which is why a shelf can take a full storage tote without bowing. The decks re-stack into shorter units or a low bench when the layout changes.
Doubled steel legs
Each upright is two layers of tube. The unit stays rigid empty or loaded, so it never rocks when you pull a bin off the top.
Ribbed decks
Four ribs run under every shelf. Paint cans, tool cases and bags of soil sit flat instead of sagging into the middle.
Rebuild it shorter
Move a crossbar to change the gap between decks, or split one tower into two low units for a workbench height.
Mallet, not wrench
The decks interlock without bolts. A rubber mallet and gloves are packed in, and a unit goes up in an afternoon coffee break.
