About this clothes rack
We built this open garment frame from thick stainless steel tube and finished the surface in plated chrome. Both hanging rods pull outward to widen the run, while push-button locks set the height for long dresses or winter parkas. Wire shelves across the base hold boots and luggage off the floor.
Telescoping hanging rods
Each rod pulls outward to widen your hanging run when seasonal coats come out of storage. The spacing between the front and back bars keeps thick woolens from pressing together, and push buttons let you set the height of the uprights.
Reinforced joint geometry
Support bars meet in a reinforced junction that spreads the hanging load across the base of the frame. Thick stainless tube forms the uprights, giving the whole structure rigidity when you push the rack across a room loaded with heavy suits.
Plated chrome surface
We run the steel tubes through a plating process that leaves a bright, smooth finish across every post and bar. Hangers slide along the rods without catching, and the coating handles humid laundry rooms without flaking or dulling.
Rolling base and wire shelves
Rubber-tread casters roll across hardwood or tile, and foot brakes lock the wheels when you want the frame parked. Down at the base, metal wire shelves tie the lower rails together and give you a flat deck for luggage.
