Description

About this clothes rack

We build this frame from thick steel tube and plate it in smooth chrome. The top rod pulls outward at the ends when you need extra hanging length for winter coats or long dresses. Down below, wide-set base legs and a wire shelf stiffen the uprights while you roll the rack across the room.

Telescoping top rod

The upper bar slides out on internal stops to create overhang space for garments on hangers. Push the extensions flush when floor space is tight, or draw them out fully to hang long coats, heavy suits, and bags.

Bright chrome finish

We plate the steel in a smooth chrome layer that lets hanger hooks slide without catching or scraping the base metal. The hard surface wipes down clean after travel between a bedroom, a laundry area, or a shop floor.

Casters with foot brakes

The swivel wheels roll across flat floors and over area rugs without dragging. Step down on the wheel levers to lock the rolling base in place while you load heavy winter clothes or sort through laundry.

Lower wire shelf

A steel mesh shelf sits across the bottom rail, creating a flat deck for storage totes, shoe boxes, or folded blankets. It ties the base legs together side to side, keeping the lower uprights square under load.

Before you order

  • Check the load rating against what you plan to hang or store.
  • Measure the wall and ceiling height for the size above.

Meh

Quit shipping, arrived a few days earlier than expected. Quick and easy install, I actually built it inside of my storage unit. All required tools are included. I don’t know that it’s actually a “heavy duty “clothes rack. It’s a decent clothes right but not the dirtiest. Also, the rack on the bottom isn’t secured by anything, you basically just turn a wire rack upside down, and lay it across the bottom poles. I did secure them with zip ties. I think you could probably get better for the same price or a couple of dollars more. I don’t hate it and I don’t love it.

Does the job

Good quality. A little complicated for an older person to put together. Took me awhile to complete. Works very well.
