What you are getting

We build this open frame from heavy gauge steel tube and coat it in matte black. The hanging rods shift vertically to clear long coats, while the wire shelves hold storage bins, folded sweaters, and footwear. Casters roll across the floor and lock when you finish loading.

  • Rated to 400 lbs spread across the frame, which is everyday shirts, dresses and light jackets.
  • Stands 74" tall and takes up 53.1" of wall, 22" deep. Measure the gap before you order.

Assembly: pins and connectors in the box, floor assembly, no drill.

Why it is built this way

Adjustable hanging rods

The hanging rods adjust up and down along the uprights so winter parkas and long garments hang clear of the bottom tiers. Side support bars keep the posts parallel when the rails carry heavy coats.

Powder coated steel

We finish the metal posts and shelves with a matte black powder coat that resists moisture and wipes clean with a damp cloth. The coating seals the welded junctions on the frame against surface wear.

Wire shelves and hooks

Welded wire shelves let air move around storage boxes and folded blankets, with bottom clearance meant for heavy footwear. Side hooks catch hats, bags, and scarves right as you take them off.

Rolling locking casters

Swivel casters roll the entire loaded frame between the bedroom, the laundry area, and the entry hallway. Step down on the wheel brakes to hold the rack still while hanging laundry.

Three things people ask first

How much can it actually hold?

The frame is rated to 400 lbs with the weight spread along the rail. That is a tested figure for the whole frame, not a guess, and it assumes the load sits across the span rather than hanging off one end.

Will it fit where I want to put it?

It needs 53.1" of wall and 22" of floor coming out from it, and it stands 74" tall. Chalk those three numbers on the floor before you order.

How long does it take to put together?

Most of our frames go together with the pins and connectors in the box, on the floor, in well under an hour. No drill and no wall fixing.
