What you are getting

We build this frame from thick alloy steel tube with a smooth black coating. The top rod extends outward to give long winter coats room, while the vertical posts adjust up and down to match your garments. A low wire shelf ties the base together and keeps boxes off the floor.

  • Rated to 450 lbs spread across the frame, which is everyday shirts, dresses and light jackets.
  • Stands 67" tall and takes up 75" of wall, 19.7" deep. Measure the gap before you order.
  • Rolls on locking casters. Brake them and it stays where you left it.
  • The rail extends, so one frame covers two different gaps.

Assembly: pins and connectors in the box, floor assembly, no drill. Casters push into the feet last.

Why it is built this way

Telescoping steel frame

The top bar pulls out past the uprights to take on extra hangers. You can raise or lower the vertical posts by clicking the spring pins into place, which leaves clearance for full length coats or shorter shirts.

Base shelf and side pegs

Welded wire runs between the bottom rails to hold storage boxes, boots, or folded bedding. Side hooks extend from the main uprights so you can hang tote bags, work belts, and hats directly on the frame.

Swivel casters with brakes

The wheels thread into the base tube and turn smoothly across hard floors or flat rugs. Flip the foot brakes down on the front pair when you want the frame to stay parked beside a wall.

Tool free frame assembly

The steel sections slot together without extra hardware from your toolbox. We include the small wrench needed to seat the wheels into the base, so the rack stands ready to load in minutes.

Three things people ask first

How much can it actually hold?

The frame is rated to 450 lbs with the weight spread along the rail. That is a tested figure for the whole frame, not a guess, and it assumes the load sits across the span rather than hanging off one end.

Will it fit where I want to put it?

It needs 75" of wall and 19.7" of floor coming out from it, and it stands 67" tall. Chalk those three numbers on the floor before you order, and leave a hand-width to get behind it.

How long does it take to put together?

Most of our frames go together with the pins and connectors in the box, on the floor, in well under an hour. No drill and no wall fixing; the casters push into the feet last.
