What you are getting

We weld this frame from thick steel tubing and coat it in a flat black finish. The top rod pulls out sideways when you need extra hanging length, while the central crossbar shifts up or down for shirts or long coats. Swivel casters roll the loaded frame across floorboards and lock down firmly.

  • Rated to 450 lbs spread across the frame, which is everyday shirts, dresses and light jackets.
  • Stands 72" tall and takes up 69" of wall, 17.7" deep. Measure the gap before you order.
  • Rolls on locking casters. Brake them and it stays where you left it.

Assembly: pins and connectors in the box, floor assembly, no drill. Casters push into the feet last. Shipping weight 17.5 lbs.

Why it is built this way

Telescoping top rod

The upper rail pulls outward at the ends to hang bags, hats, or extra hangers. Push the extensions back in when floor room is tight.

Adjustable hanging bar

You can position the middle horizontal bar higher or lower on the uprights. That leaves room underneath for long dresses without them pooling on the bottom shelf.

Swivel casters with brakes

The wheels rotate fully on reinforced cores to move over rugs and hard floors. Step on the brake levers to keep the rack parked while you sort coats.

Lower storage shelf

The bottom metal shelf ties the base uprights together for extra frame rigidity. It gives you a flat spot to stack storage boxes, boots, or laundry baskets.

Three things people ask first

How much can it actually hold?

The frame is rated to 450 lbs with the weight spread along the rail. That is a tested figure for the whole frame, not a guess, and it assumes the load sits across the span rather than hanging off one end.

Will it fit where I want to put it?

It needs 69" of wall and 17.7" of floor coming out from it, and it stands 72" tall. Chalk those three numbers on the floor before you order, and leave a hand-width to get behind it.

How long does it take to put together?

Most of our frames go together with the pins and connectors in the box, on the floor, in well under an hour. No drill and no wall fixing; the casters push into the feet last.
