What you are getting

Chrome tubing gives this frame a bright, smooth skin that hangers slide across without catching. We built the horizontal rod to extend sideways when you need more hanging run for long coats and seasonal clothing. A low wire grid stiffens the base and carries shoes or storage bins off the floor.

Why it is built this way

Telescoping hanging rod

The top bar pulls out past the uprights to give you extra hanging length when winter coats or long dresses crowd the main run. Push the ends back in when floor area runs tight.

Steel tube and chrome finish

Thick metal tubing forms the base and uprights. The plated finish resists moisture from damp laundry and gives hangers a slick surface to travel along when you sort through shirts.

Casters with brakes

Swivel wheels let you steer the loaded frame across floorboards, area rugs, or smooth concrete. Step down on the wheel levers to lock the rolling base where you want it parked.

Bottom wire shelf

A welded mesh grid sits between the base tubes near the floor. It holds heavy storage containers, shoe boxes, or folded sweaters while tying the uprights together to keep the frame true.

How much can it actually hold?

The frame is rated to 450 lbs with the weight spread along the rail. That is a tested figure for the whole frame, not a guess, and it assumes the load sits across the span rather than hanging off one end.

Will it fit where I want to put it?

It needs 75" of wall and 23" of floor coming out from it, and it stands 67" tall. Chalk those three numbers on the floor before you order, and leave a hand-width to get behind it.

How long does it take to put together?
