What you are getting

We build this frame from thick steel tubing and wire tiers with truss supports underneath. The matte black powder coat handles daily contact with metal hangers. Grooved upright posts let you set the shelves and hanging rods at heights that fit long coats or folded bins.

  • Rated to 440 lbs spread across the frame, which is everyday shirts, dresses and light jackets.
  • Stands 81" tall and takes up 45" of wall, 17.5" deep. Measure the gap before you order.
  • Rolls on locking casters. Brake them and it stays where you left it.

Assembly: pins and connectors in the box, floor assembly, no drill. Casters push into the feet last.

Why it is built this way

Welded steel tubing

The frame uses thick steel tube and grooved posts finished in a matte black powder coat. The surface resists scratches from metal hangers and stands up to humid laundry spaces.

Truss wire shelves

Wire shelves feature welded underside trussing to support heavy storage bins. Tapered plastic sleeves snap directly into the post grooves, locking each shelf level without bolts or wrenches.

Smooth rolling casters

Swivel wheels screw into the base of each upright so you can steer the loaded rack across hard floors. Step down on the foot brakes to hold the rack stationary.

Adjustable hanging clearance

Both hanging rods clip onto the frame and come off when you need extra vertical room. You can drop the lower tier down for full length coats and formal dresses.

How much can it actually hold?

The frame is rated to 440 lbs with the weight spread along the rail. That is a tested figure for the whole frame, not a guess, and it assumes the load sits across the span rather than hanging off one end.

Will it fit where I want to put it?

It needs 45" of wall and 17.5" of floor coming out from it, and it stands 81" tall. Chalk those three numbers on the floor before you order, and leave a hand-width to get behind it.

How long does it take to put together?
