What you are getting
We build this frame from thick steel tubing finished in a matte black powder coat. The upper and lower rods sit staggered so coats on the taller bar clear the shorter garments on the lower run. Down below, a broad wire mesh shelf ties the base uprights together and keeps storage bins off the floor.
- Stands 69" tall and takes up 52" of wall, 20" deep. Measure the gap before you order.
- 2 hanging rods, so short and long garments each get their own line.
- Rolls on locking casters. Brake them and it stays where you left it.
Assembly: pins and connectors in the box, floor assembly, no drill. Casters push into the feet last.
Why it is built this way
Staggered hanging rods
We position the hanging rods at different heights and set them apart horizontally. Long winter coats and suits hang straight on the high bar, while shirts and folded trousers take the lower bar without pressing against the fabric behind them.
Welded wire shelf
A steel mesh platform spans the lower rails to stiffen the base of the rack. It braces the side uprights against sideways sway and provides flat clearance above the floor for boots, storage trunks, and laundry baskets.
Smooth rolling casters
The wheels thread straight into the base of the uprights for moving heavy loads between the bedroom, laundry room, or retail floor. Foot brakes on the front casters press down to hold the frame steady while you sort through hangers.
Tool free setup
The tubular pieces slip together and lock into place by hand without wrenches or screwdrivers. Parts come clearly marked so you can stand the side uprights, set the bottom shelf, and seat the hanging rods in very little time.
