What you are getting

We built this open steel frame for rooms that lack a built-in closet. Thick metal uprights carry multiple rods and shelves, with an adjustable center hanging run so you can set your clearances for long coats or folded bins. The black powder finish covers all metal surfaces.

Why it is built this way

Black powder finish

We apply a tough black powder coat over the metal tubes and shelves. The finish handles damp air and daily scrapes from metal hangers without flaking.

Adjustable hanging layout

The center hanging rod shifts in height to give you clearance where you need it. Hang long garments on one section, then drop shorter jackets across the other runs.

Stacked steel shelves

Wire shelves form the bottom base and rise through the frame for folded knitwear and heavy storage bins. The open deck lets air circulate through stacked fabrics.

Leveling feet and frame

Screw connections lock the steel uprights tight against each crossbar. Adjustable feet thread into the base so you can level the whole frame on uneven bedroom floors.

How much can it actually hold?

The frame is rated to 1200 lbs with the weight spread along the rail. That is a tested figure for the whole frame, not a guess, and it assumes the load sits across the span rather than hanging off one end.

Will it fit where I want to put it?

It needs 90.6" of wall and 15.7" of floor coming out from it, and it stands 74.8" tall. Chalk those three numbers on the floor before you order.

How long does it take to put together?
