What you are getting

We build this frame from steel tube finished in black powder coat, combining hanging rods with stacked wire shelves. The tailored fabric cover slips straight over the top and zips shut down the front. It creates a closed closet in a bedroom, dorm, or rental with bare walls.

  • Rated to 1200 lbs spread across the frame, which is a full season of coats and denim with room to spare.
  • Stands 74.8" tall and takes up 90.6" of wall, 15.7" deep. Measure the gap before you order.
  • 6 hanging rods, so short and long garments each get their own line.
  • 12 shelves for folded stacks, boxes and the shoes that never fit anywhere else.
  • Zipped dust cover over the whole frame, so nothing collects gray.

Assembly: pins and connectors in the box, floor assembly, no drill.

Why it is built this way

Steel tube and finish

Black powder coat covers the steel frame, including the shelf wire and hanging rods. The finish resists scuffs when hangers slide across the metal. Thick tube walls keep the uprights rigid under thick coats and stacked storage bins.

Fabric dust cover

The cover drops over the completed frame and zips down the front for access to the rods. Clear panels let you spot garments without opening the whole front. Stitched side pockets hold small accessories off the main shelves.

Rods and wire shelves

Hanging zones accommodate long winter coats alongside shorter shirts, while wire shelves support folded denim and shoes. The center hanging rod adjusts in height to match garment length. Wire tiers allow air to circulate beneath stored boxes.

Feet and assembly

Threaded feet screw into the bottom of the uprights to level the frame on uneven floorboards. The parts press together without wrenches or extra hardware. You build the steel skeleton first, then pull the fabric cover over the top.

Three things people ask first

How much can it actually hold?

The frame is rated to 1200 lbs with the weight spread along the rail. That is a tested figure for the whole frame, not a guess, and it assumes the load sits across the span rather than hanging off one end.

Will it fit where I want to put it?

It needs 90.6" of wall and 15.7" of floor coming out from it, and it stands 74.8" tall. Chalk those three numbers on the floor before you order.

How long does it take to put together?

Most of our frames go together with the pins and connectors in the box, on the floor, in well under an hour. No drill and no wall fixing.
