What you are getting
Corner spaces often sit empty because standard wardrobes do not fit them. We built this freestanding unit with steel posts and slip sleeves so you can build it as an L or run it along a flat wall. The black coating covers the wire decks and hanging rods evenly.
- Rated to 900 lbs spread across the frame, which is a winter wardrobe of coats and heavy knits.
- Stands 77" tall and takes up 74.5" of wall, 18" deep. Measure the gap before you order.
- L-shaped, so it turns a corner instead of eating a wall.
Assembly: pins and connectors in the box, floor assembly, no drill. Shipping weight 36.2 lbs.

Why it is built this way
Corner configuration
Build the uprights around a corner to use floor space that wide wardrobes block off. You can also assemble the posts in a straight line along a flat wall if your room layout changes later.
Slip sleeve assembly
Plastic sleeves snap directly onto the grooved steel posts to seat the wire shelves. Push each collar down by hand, slide the shelf corner over it, and tap the wire deck until the taper wedges tight.
Adjustable hanging rods
The steel hanging rods fasten between the upright posts to hold long coats, shirts, and trousers. You can move the rods up or down the frame grooves to leave clearance above the lower storage tiers.
Black powder finish
We coat the tubular posts, wire shelving decks, and corner joints in a smooth matte black. The finish covers the welds and wire junctions, resisting scrapes from metal coat hangers sliding along the rail.
Three things people ask first
How much can it actually hold?
The frame is rated to 900 lbs with the weight spread along the rail. That is a tested figure for the whole frame, not a guess, and it assumes the load sits across the span rather than hanging off one end.
Will it fit where I want to put it?
It needs 74.5" of wall and 18" of floor coming out from it, and it stands 77" tall. Chalk those three numbers on the floor before you order.
How long does it take to put together?
Most of our frames go together with the pins and connectors in the box, on the floor, in well under an hour. No drill and no wall fixing.
