What you are getting

We build this frame from thick steel tubing with a black finish to handle full wardrobes in rooms that lack built-in closets. Wire mesh shelves and hanging rods lock into the upright posts without special tools. Adjustable leveler feet sit at the base so the whole unit settles evenly against uneven bedroom or basement floors.

  • Rated to 800 lbs spread across the frame, which is a winter wardrobe of coats and heavy knits.
  • Stands 75.5" tall and takes up 56" of wall, 16" deep. Measure the gap before you order.
  • 3 hanging rods, so short and long garments each get their own line.
  • 9 shelves for folded stacks, boxes and the shoes that never fit anywhere else.

Assembly: pins and connectors in the box, floor assembly, no drill.

Why it is built this way

Steel post construction

The vertical posts carry the weight of full coats and stacked bins. We give the metal a smooth black coating that resists daily scuffs while the overall frame stays square under a full load.

Adjustable wire shelves

Mesh shelves clip directly onto the grooved uprights so you set the spacing to match folded sweaters or storage boxes. The open wire lets air move through your stored goods.

Hanging rod clearance

Full-length coats and shorter shirts hang on separate rods that set into the frame. You choose the working heights so long garments clear the bottom tiers without dragging.

Leveling feet

Threaded feet on the base posts screw in or out to balance the frame on irregular floorboards or rough concrete. They keep the uprights true before you start loading the tiers.

Three things people ask first

How much can it actually hold?

The frame is rated to 800 lbs with the weight spread along the rail. That is a tested figure for the whole frame, not a guess, and it assumes the load sits across the span rather than hanging off one end.

Will it fit where I want to put it?

It needs 56" of wall and 16" of floor coming out from it, and it stands 75.5" tall. Chalk those three numbers on the floor before you order.

How long does it take to put together?

Most of our frames go together with the pins and connectors in the box, on the floor, in well under an hour. No drill and no wall fixing.
