What you are getting

We build this frame with heavy black steel tubing to hold full wardrobes on open wire shelves and hanging rods. It stands without wall anchors in rental flats, laundry rooms, or bedrooms lacking built-in storage. The layout shifts as you clip tiers higher or remove a rod for longer garments.

  • Rated to 780 lbs spread across the frame, which is a winter wardrobe of coats and heavy knits.
  • Stands 77.1" tall and takes up 45.5" of wall, 16.7" deep. Measure the gap before you order.
  • 3 hanging rods, so short and long garments each get their own line.
  • 6 shelves for folded stacks, boxes and the shoes that never fit anywhere else.

Assembly: pins and connectors in the box, floor assembly, no drill.

Why it is built this way

Steel tube frame

Heavy gauge steel tubes slide together without bolts or screwdrivers. The matte black powder coating protects the metal from daily scrapes when sliding hangers across the upper rods or resting storage boxes on the shelves.

Adjustable wire shelves

Grooved vertical posts let you seat the wire shelves where you need clearance. Keep them close for folded denim and folded knitwear, or leave open height below a rod so long overcoats hang clear of the bottom wire deck.

Hanging rods and drawers

The upper rods take the main hanging load, while soft fabric drawers slide into place below for smaller goods. You can drop out a central rod when your coats need more drop, shifting the frame toward full hanging length.

Freestanding base design

Broad leveling feet spread the combined weight across uneven floorboards or flat rental carpets. Because the unit stands upright on its own base, you bypass wall studs, drywall anchors, and mounting brackets entirely.

Three things people ask first

How much can it actually hold?

The frame is rated to 780 lbs with the weight spread along the rail. That is a tested figure for the whole frame, not a guess, and it assumes the load sits across the span rather than hanging off one end.

Will it fit where I want to put it?

It needs 45.5" of wall and 16.7" of floor coming out from it, and it stands 77.1" tall. Chalk those three numbers on the floor before you order.

How long does it take to put together?

Most of our frames go together with the pins and connectors in the box, on the floor, in well under an hour. No drill and no wall fixing.
