What you are getting

We build this frame from thick steel tubing finished in chrome, then wrap it in a fitted fabric cover. The top bar extends outward when you need extra hanging length for winter coats or long dresses. Down below, the base shelf ties the uprights together and carries heavy storage boxes.

  • Rated to 485 lbs spread across the frame, which is everyday shirts, dresses and light jackets.
  • Stands 75" tall and takes up 67" of wall, 23.7" deep. Measure the gap before you order.
  • Zipped dust cover over the whole frame, so nothing collects gray.
  • Rolls on locking casters. Brake them and it stays where you left it.

Assembly: pins and connectors in the box, floor assembly, no drill. Casters push into the feet last.

Why it is built this way

Bright chrome plating

The chrome finish covers the steel posts and telescoping rails. It resists wear from hangers sliding across the bar, and you can wipe the metal clean with a dry cloth whenever needed.

Full fabric dust cover

The cover slips over the assembled frame and zips down the front for access. It keeps everyday dust, pet hair, and direct bedroom light off your garments while they hang.

Extending upper rail

Both ends of the top rod pull outward to widen your hanging span. Push them back flush with the frame when you need the rack to fit a tighter corner.

Base shelf and casters

The bottom shelf carries bins, boots, or folded blankets while bracing the lower posts. Swivel casters roll across rugs and hard floors, and the foot brakes press down to park the frame.

The frame is rated to 485 lbs with the weight spread along the rail. That is a tested figure for the whole frame, not a guess, and it assumes the load sits across the span rather than hanging off one end.

Will it fit where I want to put it?

It needs 67" of wall and 23.7" of floor coming out from it, and it stands 75" tall. Chalk those three numbers on the floor before you order, and leave a hand-width to get behind it.

How long does it take to put together?
