What you are getting

We formed this rack from steel tube and coated the whole frame in gold. The top hanging rod extends outward at both ends to take on longer runs of hangers, while the lower base tubes hold shoes or storage boxes. It rolls smoothly over hard floors or carpet and locks down whenever you push the pedal brakes.

  • Rated to 530 lbs spread across the frame, which is everyday shirts, dresses and light jackets.
  • Stands 70" tall and takes up 75" of wall, 21.6" deep. Measure the gap before you order.
  • Rolls on locking casters. Brake them and it stays where you left it.
  • The rail extends, so one frame covers two different gaps.

Why it is built this way

Telescoping top rod

The top bar pulls out past the uprights on both sides so you can hang extra garments. Push the ends back in when floor area runs tight, or pull them wide for full coats and long dresses.

Snap lock assembly

The tubes click together using spring pins without wrench work or loose hardware. You can put the frame together by hand, adjust the height pins, or strip the whole piece down into short poles for transport between events.

Smooth rubber casters

Wide rubber wheels swivel over tile, wood, and concrete thresholds without marking up the floor. Step on the brake tabs to hold the garment rack steady while you sort through heavy suits or unbox inventory.

Arched steel base

The bottom steel bars form an arched base that ties the uprights together and supports flat boxes or folded stock. That lower span keeps the frame stiff while you push it loaded through doorways.

How much can it actually hold?

The frame is rated to 530 lbs with the weight spread along the rail. That is a tested figure for the whole frame, not a guess, and it assumes the load sits across the span rather than hanging off one end.

Will it fit where I want to put it?

It needs 75" of wall and 21.6" of floor coming out from it, and it stands 70" tall. Chalk those three numbers on the floor before you order, and leave a hand-width to get behind it.

How long does it take to put together?
