What you are getting

We built this open rack with plated steel tubing to handle dense rows of heavy outerwear, suits, and folded garments. Both hanging rods adjust for clearance, while the wire shelves stiffen the base and hold storage bins off the floor. It rolls across tile or carpet and locks down where you need it.

  • Rolls on locking casters. Brake them and it stays where you left it.

Why it is built this way

Plated steel frame

The uprights and crossbars use thick-walled tubing finished in smooth chrome. The plating resists friction from metal hangers and wipes clean easily, giving the whole frame a bright, hard-wearing surface that suits a bedroom or laundry room.

Dual adjustable rods

Both upper rods adjust in height to keep longer coats separate from shirts and trousers. The sides extend outward when you need extra hanging length, and the parallel spacing prevents crowded garments from pressing against each other.

Stacked wire shelves

The wide wire shelving across the lower section adds rigidity to the base while creating flat space for shoes, folded knitwear, or bins. The open wire grid lets air circulate around stored items.

Casters with brakes

The frame is rated to 500 lbs with the weight spread along the rail. That is a tested figure for the whole frame, not a guess, and it assumes the load sits across the span rather than hanging off one end.
