What you are getting
We formed the main frame from heavy steel tubing finished in a bright chrome plating. The hanging rod pulls out at both ends to take on more hangers when you need the extra width. It rolls where you push it, then holds still once you step down on the caster brakes.
- Rated to 480 lbs spread across the frame, which is everyday shirts, dresses and light jackets.
- Stands 71" tall and takes up 75" of wall, 22" deep. Measure the gap before you order.
- Rolls on locking casters. Brake them and it stays where you left it.
Assembly: pins and connectors in the box, floor assembly, no drill. Casters push into the feet last.
Why it is built this way
Telescoping hanging rod
Both ends of the upper bar slide outward to give you extra hanging length. Push them back in when you need the rack to clear a tight doorway or fit between bedroom furniture.
Bright chrome plating
We plate the steel tubes in chrome rather than paint them. Hangers slide along the bar without scuffing the surface, and the metal wipes down clean after long use in a laundry room or shop floor.
Casters with foot brakes
The frame sits on swiveling casters that turn in any direction. Step down on the brake levers to keep the rack parked in place while you load winter coats onto the rod.
Tool free frame assembly
The steel uprights and base sections slide together and lock into place with push buttons. You build the whole rack by hand without searching around for wrenches or loose hardware.
Three things people ask first
How much can it actually hold?
The frame is rated to 480 lbs with the weight spread along the rail. That is a tested figure for the whole frame, not a guess, and it assumes the load sits across the span rather than hanging off one end.
Will it fit where I want to put it?
It needs 75" of wall and 22" of floor coming out from it, and it stands 71" tall. Chalk those three numbers on the floor before you order, and leave a hand-width to get behind it.
How long does it take to put together?
Most of our frames go together with the pins and connectors in the box, on the floor, in well under an hour. No drill and no wall fixing; the casters push into the feet last.
