What you are getting

We build this frame with heavy-gauge steel tube and coat it in polished chrome. The upper hanging rail pulls out sideways when you need extra hanging room, while the base holds a deep wire basket. When you need the floor back, the frame folds flat for transport.

Why it is built this way

Telescoping hanging rod

The upper rail pulls out at the ends to hang extra coats and dresses. Push the extensions back in when floor area is tight. Smooth push pins locate each setting firmly so the bar stays level.

Wire storage basket

The bottom section uses a deep wire basket rather than a flat shelf. Folded garments, storage bins, and shoes stay contained while you push the frame across the floor. The welded basket grid also ties the uprights together.

Folding steel base

The lower assembly hinges flat once you remove the top sections. You can slide the collapsed frame under a bed or load it into a trunk between market days. Assembly needs no special workshop tools.

Casters with brakes

Swiveling wheels roll over hard floors and short carpet when moving loads from the laundry room. Step down on the wheel brakes to hold the loaded rack in place while sorting hangers.
