What you are getting

We build this frame with heavy steel tube and a durable black finish. The hanging rods telescope outward when you need extra run, while the deep lower basket keeps bins, shoes, and folded goods off the floor. Heavy casters let you roll the whole assembly where you need it.

  • Rated to 630 lbs spread across the frame, which is a winter wardrobe of coats and heavy knits.
  • Stands 70" tall and takes up 65.4" of wall, 23" deep. Measure the gap before you order.
  • 2 hanging rods, so short and long garments each get their own line.
  • Rolls on locking casters. Brake them and it stays where you left it.
  • The rail extends, so one frame covers two different gaps.

Assembly: pins and connectors in the box, floor assembly, no drill. Casters push into the feet last.

Why it is built this way

Telescoping upper rods

The top rail pulls out at the ends to add hanging space for longer coats and heavy jackets. You can set the height to clear long dresses, keeping hems well above the floor and separated for clear viewing.

Deep wire basket

Down at the base, welded wire forms a deep basket rather than a flat tray. It ties the uprights together across the bottom to stiffen the frame and holds storage bins, luggage, or shoe boxes firmly inside the perimeter.

Casters and brakes

Our swivel casters roll over floorboards, flat rugs, and concrete shop floors. Step down on the wheel brakes when the rack is where you want it, so the frame stays put while you pull heavy coats from the rails.

Tool free setup

The tubular pieces slide and lock together with included hardware, using simple push buttons and hand bolts. You can assemble the frame by yourself on a rug without bringing workshop tools into the room.

Three things people ask first

How much can it actually hold?

The frame is rated to 630 lbs with the weight spread along the rail. That is a tested figure for the whole frame, not a guess, and it assumes the load sits across the span rather than hanging off one end.

Will it fit where I want to put it?

It needs 65.4" of wall and 23" of floor coming out from it, and it stands 70" tall. Chalk those three numbers on the floor before you order, and leave a hand-width to get behind it.

How long does it take to put together?

Most of our frames go together with the pins and connectors in the box, on the floor, in well under an hour. No drill and no wall fixing; the casters push into the feet last.
