What you are getting
We build this frame with heavy stainless steel tubing joined by reinforced brackets. The chrome plating resists moisture in damp laundry rooms and utility areas. Both top bars extend outward, while the bottom wire shelves give you space for storage boxes and shoes. It moves on smooth rubber wheels and locks down where you place it.

Why it is built this way
Steel tube and chrome
The commercial gauge stainless steel tubing receives a dense chrome finish. We plated it to handle wet garments and humid basements without surface corrosion. Smooth metal edges keep hangers sliding quietly along each rail.
Dual extending bars
Both upper rods adjust in height with push buttons and extend horizontally to take long overcoats and heavy parkas. Wide spacing between the parallel bars stops thick woolens and suit jackets from pressing together while they hang.
Base shelf support
Wire shelves stretch across the bottom base to hold luggage, boots, and bins. Tying the lower frame together with these metal panels stiffens the base, keeping the uprights aligned when the rails carry a full load.
Casters with brakes
Heavy rubber casters thread directly into the base for easy movement across hardwood and flat rugs. Stepping on the brake levers holds the rack stationary while you hang damp laundry or arrange seasonal coats.
