What you are getting
We formed this rack from thick steel tubing and finished every surface in gold. Telescoping top rods pull out to take winter overcoats, while the lower shelves hold boots and storage bins off the floor. Heavy rubber casters let you wheel the loaded frame across a room without catching on rugs.

Why it is built this way
Telescoping hanging rods
Both upper rods pull outward to give long coats room to hang. When you have less to hang, slide the ends inward so the rack tucks closer to the wall of your bedroom or hallway.
Reinforced base shelf
The lower wire shelves span the uprights to stiffen the whole base. They give you a flat deck for shoe boxes, luggage, and heavy storage baskets while keeping the lower frame square.
Locking rubber casters
Our swiveling casters roll quietly over floorboards and low-pile carpet. Step down on the foot brakes when the rack is where you want it so the frame stays put while you load hangers.
Gold powder finish
We coat the steel frame in a warm gold layer that resists scratching from metal coat hangers. The smooth finish wipes down easily and keeps the tubing clean in humid laundry rooms.

How much can it actually hold?
The frame is rated to 630 lbs with the weight spread along the rail. That is a tested figure for the whole frame, not a guess, and it assumes the load sits across the span rather than hanging off one end.
Will it fit where I want to put it?
It needs 74" of wall and 25" of floor coming out from it, and it stands 69" tall. Chalk those three numbers on the floor before you order, and leave a hand-width to get behind it.
How long does it take to put together?
Most of our frames go together with the pins and connectors in the box, on the floor, in well under an hour. No drill and no wall fixing; the casters push into the feet last.
