What you are getting

We build this garment rack with heavy steel tubing finished in smooth black. Dual hanging rods extend outward and adjust upward for long coats, while the base shelf holds storage bins. When you clear the rails, the uprights collapse down for transport or flat storage.

  • Rated to 650 lbs spread across the frame, which is a winter wardrobe of coats and heavy knits.
  • Stands 68" tall and takes up 75" of wall, 22" deep. Measure the gap before you order.
  • 2 hanging rods, so short and long garments each get their own line.
  • Folds flat when the season ends.

Assembly: pins and connectors in the box, floor assembly, no drill.

Why it is built this way

Steel tube and finish

We use thick-walled metal tubing dipped in a tough black coat. The surface resists scuffs from metal hangers, and the welded joints keep the frame firm when loaded with heavy winter parkas.

Telescoping dual rails

Both top rods pull outward at the ends for extra hanging length, and the uprights adjust upward so long hems stay clear of the base. The space between rails keeps garments separated.

Base shelf and folding

The bottom grid stiffens the frame across the wheels and holds boots or bins. When you need the room, the uprights unclip so the rack folds down flat for transport in a car trunk.

Swivel casters with brakes

Hard rubber wheels roll across smooth wood, tile, and rugs without marking the floor. Foot brakes on the casters lock the rack in position while you sort through heavy coats.

Three things people ask first

How much can it actually hold?

The frame is rated to 650 lbs with the weight spread along the rail. That is a tested figure for the whole frame, not a guess, and it assumes the load sits across the span rather than hanging off one end.

Will it fit where I want to put it?

It needs 75" of wall and 22" of floor coming out from it, and it stands 68" tall. Chalk those three numbers on the floor before you order.

How long does it take to put together?

Most of our frames go together with the pins and connectors in the box, on the floor, in well under an hour. No drill and no wall fixing.
