What you are getting

We built this rolling garment frame from thick steel tubing dipped in a dense chrome plate. The top rods extend outward for extra width, while the base collapses down flat when you need to store the rack away. It rolls across concrete or wood on thick rubber wheels.

  • Rated to 650 lbs spread across the frame, which is a winter wardrobe of coats and heavy knits.
  • Stands 68" tall and takes up 75" of wall, 22" deep. Measure the gap before you order.
  • 2 hanging rods, so short and long garments each get their own line.
  • Folds flat when the season ends.

Assembly: pins and connectors in the box, floor assembly, no drill.

Why it is built this way

Telescoping hanging rods

Each top rod pulls outward at the ends to add hanging space when winter coats come out. You can adjust the height on each upright so long hems hang free of the bottom shelf. Both rods sit apart to stop thick garments tangling.

Folding steel base

The wide base hinges flat for transport to a market stall or trunk storage between uses. Snap pins lock the joints during setup without hand tools. A low steel wire shelf spans the bottom rails to hold footwear and loaded bins.

Chrome over steel

We apply a bright chrome plating over the steel tubes to shrug off scuffs and basement moisture. Hanger hooks slide along the polished surface without snagging or chipping the metal. Wiping down the polished steel takes seconds.

Rubber locking wheels

Solid rubber casters swivel fully over rough floors, thresholds, and pavement. Foot brakes on the casters hold the frame still while you load heavy winter wear. The soft tread rolls quietly without marking finished floorboards.

Three things people ask first

How much can it actually hold?

The frame is rated to 650 lbs with the weight spread along the rail. That is a tested figure for the whole frame, not a guess, and it assumes the load sits across the span rather than hanging off one end.

Will it fit where I want to put it?

It needs 75" of wall and 22" of floor coming out from it, and it stands 68" tall. Chalk those three numbers on the floor before you order.

How long does it take to put together?

Most of our frames go together with the pins and connectors in the box, on the floor, in well under an hour. No drill and no wall fixing.
