What you are getting

We build this frame with heavy gauge steel tubing dipped in bright chrome. Both hanging rods extend outward when you have longer garments or a fuller load of coats to hang. The base rolls on commercial casters so you can shift the rack across hardwood or tile.

  • Rated to 630 lbs spread across the frame, which is a winter wardrobe of coats and heavy knits.
  • Stands 69" tall and takes up 74.8" of wall, 21.6" deep. Measure the gap before you order.
  • 2 hanging rods, so short and long garments each get their own line.
  • Rolls on locking casters. Brake them and it stays where you left it.

Assembly: pins and connectors in the box, floor assembly, no drill. Casters push into the feet last.

Why it is built this way

Steel tube and chrome

The uprights and crossbars receive a smooth chrome plating over thick steel tube. Hangers slide along the rail without catching. The finish resists scuffs when you hang heavy winter parkas or wet garments straight out of the wash.

Telescoping frame

Both the height and the width adjust through push buttons along the steel tubing. You can raise the top bar for long dresses or pull the ends outward when you need extra hanging room across the frame.

Rolling base

Our casters swivel fully and roll over flat rugs, concrete, or bare floorboards. Foot levers on the wheels drop down to lock the frame stationary when you load coats onto one side of the rack.

Tool free setup

The pieces snap together using spring locks and sleeve joints right out of the carton. You slip the uprights into the base, secure the crossbars, and press the casters into the bottom sockets without extra hardware.

Three things people ask first

How much can it actually hold?

The frame is rated to 630 lbs with the weight spread along the rail. That is a tested figure for the whole frame, not a guess, and it assumes the load sits across the span rather than hanging off one end.

Will it fit where I want to put it?

It needs 74.8" of wall and 21.6" of floor coming out from it, and it stands 69" tall. Chalk those three numbers on the floor before you order, and leave a hand-width to get behind it.

How long does it take to put together?

Most of our frames go together with the pins and connectors in the box, on the floor, in well under an hour. No drill and no wall fixing; the casters push into the feet last.
