What you are getting

We build this frame from thick-walled steel tube finished in a smooth white powder coat. The posts accept shelves and hanging rods along their length, letting you run the whole assembly straight against a wall or turn it into an L shape for a tight corner. You get open storage for hanging garments, folded stacks, and fabric bins.

  • Rated to 900 lbs spread across the frame, which is a winter wardrobe of coats and heavy knits.
  • Stands 76.8" tall and takes up 74.8" of wall, 17.7" deep. Measure the gap before you order.
  • 5 hanging rods, so short and long garments each get their own line.
  • 8 shelves for folded stacks, boxes and the shoes that never fit anywhere else.

Assembly: pins and connectors in the box, floor assembly, no drill.

Why it is built this way

Steel posts and finish

The uprights use heavy round tube with grooved collars along the length. We apply a durable white powder coat that resists chips from metal hangers. The finish wipes down with a damp cloth.

Corner or straight layout

You can assemble the bays in a straight line along a bedroom wall or turn the joint to wrap into a corner. The wire shelves tie the uprights together, bracing the frame horizontally while holding boxes and folded knitwear.

Rods and shelf tiers

Steel hanging rods span the frame between the uprights, leaving vertical clearance below for long coats or folded bins. Each wire shelf drops over split sleeves that lock into the grooves on the posts without hardware.

Feet and floor levelling

Threaded feet screw into the base of each post. You turn each foot by hand to level the entire run across uneven floorboards or wide tile grout lines, keeping the posts plumb before you load the rods.

Three things people ask first

How much can it actually hold?

The frame is rated to 900 lbs with the weight spread along the rail. That is a tested figure for the whole frame, not a guess, and it assumes the load sits across the span rather than hanging off one end.

Will it fit where I want to put it?

It needs 74.8" of wall and 17.7" of floor coming out from it, and it stands 76.8" tall. Chalk those three numbers on the floor before you order.

How long does it take to put together?

Most of our frames go together with the pins and connectors in the box, on the floor, in well under an hour. No drill and no wall fixing.
