What you are getting
We built this rolling garment rack using thick steel tubing and rigid joints. The top hanging bar pulls out on both sides to take on long coats and dense rows of hangers, while the lower shelf holds footwear and storage totes. Swiveling casters roll across floorboards and shop thresholds, then lock down when you park it.
- Rated to 485 lbs spread across the frame, which is everyday shirts, dresses and light jackets.
- Stands 67" tall and takes up 75" of wall, 23.7" deep. Measure the gap before you order.
- Rolls on locking casters. Brake them and it stays where you left it.
Assembly: pins and connectors in the box, floor assembly, no drill. Casters push into the feet last.

Why it is built this way
Telescoping top bar
The hanging bar extends outward past the uprights to create extra run for winter coats and long garments. Push the extension sections back in when you need to roll the frame through a narrow doorway.
Bottom shelf bracing
We run a rigid shelf across the lower frame base. It keeps storage bins, shoe boxes, and heavy luggage up off the floor while tying the uprights together so the frame stays square during a move.
Swivel casters with brakes
The casters turn on bearings to track smoothly across floorboards, area rugs, and concrete shop floors. Step down on the foot brakes to hold the loaded rack in place while sorting laundry or arranging inventory.
Tool free assembly
The tubular frame parts click together without wrenches or loose hardware. You can put the full rack together by hand, adjust the pullout rod sections, and have it ready for clothes right away.
Three things people ask first
How much can it actually hold?
The frame is rated to 485 lbs with the weight spread along the rail. That is a tested figure for the whole frame, not a guess, and it assumes the load sits across the span rather than hanging off one end.
Will it fit where I want to put it?
It needs 75" of wall and 23.7" of floor coming out from it, and it stands 67" tall. Chalk those three numbers on the floor before you order, and leave a hand-width to get behind it.
How long does it take to put together?
Most of our frames go together with the pins and connectors in the box, on the floor, in well under an hour. No drill and no wall fixing; the casters push into the feet last.
