About this covered rack
We build this frame from heavy steel tube finished in white powder coating. The fabric cover zips shut across the front to keep out dust, while the hanging rods and wire shelves adjust to fit long coats or folded bins. Casters carry the loaded unit across the room.
White steel frame
We cut the uprights and crossbars from heavy steel tubing and coat them in a smooth white finish. The metal wipes down with a damp cloth, and the slotted posts let you set shelf heights to suit your storage.
Zipped dust cover
The fitted fabric cover wraps the metal frame completely. Full running zips open the front panel so you can reach hanging items, and roll-up ties hold the door back while you sort through your coats and shirts.
Rods and shelves
The hanging rods lift out and the wire tiers shift position along the uprights. You can set up upper and lower hanging rails for shirts or pull out the lower section to leave open drop for long garments.
Rolling casters
The casters thread directly into the base of the upright posts. Brakes on the wheels hold the rack steady when you park it against a wall in a bedroom, laundry area, or dorm room.
