What you are getting

We build this frame from steel tubing and wire shelves, finished in a matte black powder coat. The fabric cover slips right over the top posts and zips shut down the front to keep out shop dust or bright daylight. It gives you a full closet footprint anywhere the room lacks built-in storage.

  • Rated to 1100 lbs spread across the frame, which is a full season of coats and denim with room to spare.
  • Stands 76.9" tall and takes up 75.8" of wall, 17.7" deep. Measure the gap before you order.
  • Zipped dust cover over the whole frame, so nothing collects gray.

Assembly: pins and connectors in the box, floor assembly, no drill.

Why it is built this way

Steel tube frame

The upright posts connect with alloy steel shelves and hanging rods. The whole structure relies on friction-locked joints so the frame stays rigid once the lower shelves are loaded with heavy storage boxes.

Full fabric enclosure

The black cover drops over the top crossbars and seals along the front with a full-length zip. It keeps hanging garments behind a clean screen, with outer side pockets for smaller accessories.

Adjustable wire shelves

You set the wire shelves along the grooved posts to match tall winter coats or folded sweaters. Wire decks allow airflow underneath boxes while the black coating resists scuffs from shoes and luggage.

Tool-free assembly

The posts push together and lock over slip sleeves by hand. You assemble the lower tier, stand the uprights, hang the rods, and pull the cloth shell down without reaching for a wrench.

Three things people ask first

How much can it actually hold?

The frame is rated to 1100 lbs with the weight spread along the rail. That is a tested figure for the whole frame, not a guess, and it assumes the load sits across the span rather than hanging off one end.

Will it fit where I want to put it?

It needs 75.8" of wall and 17.7" of floor coming out from it, and it stands 76.9" tall. Chalk those three numbers on the floor before you order.

How long does it take to put together?

Most of our frames go together with the pins and connectors in the box, on the floor, in well under an hour. No drill and no wall fixing.
